bullx R421 – Accelerated server
The bullx R421 accelerated server combines over 1U:
- two Intel® Xeon® processors, AND
- two latest generation NVIDIA® Tesla™ GPUs OR
- two latest generation Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessors.
It is less dense than the bullx accelerator blades, but offers more flexibility, with a wider choice of options and connectivity.
bullx R421 k – Dense
accelerated compute node
The bullx R421 k accelerated server can host over 1U up to 4 latest generation NVIDIA® Tesla™ GPUs OR up to 4 latest generation Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessors.
bullx R423 – Reliable and efficient enhanced service nodes
The bullx R423 i is a 2U rack-mounted 2-socket server designed specifically for Extreme Computing. The bullx R423 i service node combines advanced connectivity features, extended storage options and redundancy, to ensure efficient and reliable cluster administration services.
The bullx R423 j is a rack-mounted 1U mono socket server optimized specifically to serve as an I/O node within a small to medium High Performance Computing configuration. The bullx R423 j is a cost efficient option that nevertheless offers all the features expected of an efficient I/O node in terms of connectivity, storage and redundancy.
bullx R424 – Versatile and cost-effective compute nodes
The bullx R424 servers have been optimized specifically to act as compute nodes and to offer an optimum balance between cost and efficiency. With four 2-socket nodes mounted in a single 2U chassis, the bullx R424 offer breakthrough density for rack-mounted servers, and all the flexibility of 1U commodity servers. They can also be used a light service nodes.
The R424 j model includes an on-board SAS RAID controller.
bullx R425 – Enhanced graphics node
The bullx R425 is a versatile rack-mounted 2-socket server designed specifically to satisfy the visualization needs involved in Extreme Computing.
The bullx R425 can handle the most demanding HPC, data visualization and rendering workloads. It is optimized to support the latest graphics, coprocessor and accelerator cards. With its fast front-side bus and large storage capacity, it is a highly cost-efficient visualization server.
